Things will heat up in late August. Obviously, the 49ers are hoping at least two teams will have enough interest in him to make a trade rather than take a chance on FA hoping he chooses them (Commanders?). All it takes is one other team to show interest to yield a draft pick. That is the scenario I see happening.
